Allow me to introduce Dior, an exquisite beauty with a striking dark-pointed reverse brindle coat (black brindle). At just 5 months old, she underwent a thorough evaluation by a mentor with over 30 years of experience, receiving glowing feedback that highlighted her exceptional qualities. Dior’s strengths encompass her squareness, head, neck, chest, top line, rear angulation, shelf, and tail set. The mentor also stated, “If your goal is to enhance multi-colored structure, this girl is the one to do it.” Furthermore, during her evaluation, Dior exhibited the temperament necessary for success in the show ring.
Dior made her debut at Premier Nationals in June 2022, where she not only won her class but also secured the title of Best Female. Her performance in the ring was nothing short of perfection. On her fourth day of showing, at just 10 months and 1 day old, she earned her well-deserved UKC Champion title, with one judge describing her as “elegant.” Dior’s talents extend beyond conformation, as she also excels in Puppy Obedience I and shows great promise in Rally and Scent Work. Her future in the world of dog shows looks incredibly bright.
In January 2023, Dior achieved a clean sweep of victories against multi-colored champions in four shows. She even claimed the prestigious Best of Breed title among an impressive array of poodles and secured a Group 4 placement in a sizable gun dog group consisting of 10 breeds. Judges were enamored with her squareness, shoulder layback, and notably her exceptional reach and drive.
Dior’s journey continued with the accumulation of three grand legs, and then a fourth, when she was chosen for BEST IN SHOW on April 30, 2023. She garnered compliments for her underjaw, movement, and her relaxed, cheerful demeanor.
On May 19, 2023, we embarked on the path to earn her Canine Good Citizen title, and Dior excelled! Not only did she achieve her CGC, but she also earned her Advanced CGC, along with her first Trick title. Her trainer shares our belief that she will excel in Rally Obedience when she concludes her conformation career.
By the end of May 2023, Dior had secured her Grand Championship and gracefully transitioned into the world of performance sports. Her drive and enthusiasm in sports mirror her excellence in conformation. Together, we anticipate having a tremendous amount of fun and success.
Dior is the proud offspring of Piper and Romeo (October 2021), and we couldn’t be more pleased with how both she and Valor, her sibling, are maturing. Their future is truly promising.
She is tested for all identified genetic diseases found in the breed as well as 204 other genetic diseases. She passed OFA eyes and cardiac in December 2022. We look forward to completing her final health testing by the time she reaches 2 years of age.
